Summer Art Exhibition
August 11th to the 15th here at Merchants’ Place we will be having a Summer Art Exhibition. 9am to 4pm daily. Showing some of the work by local leisure painters who attend Cora’s art classes running from Merchants’ Place.
Commissions from sales will support the community work carried out at Merchants’ Place. Come along and see the lovely art work.
First Aid Courses.
Having basic First Aid knowledge can be incredibly useful in emergencies, whether at home or at work. We have two First Aid Basic 1 day courses coming to Merchants’ Place on July 7th and July 21st. The course is taught in small groups by a specialist tutor to ensure everyone gets the attention they need.. You’ll come away with essential First Aid skills and more confidence to handle emergencies. On Tuesdays through June we will be having classes in crochet and stitching and creative mending.

Volunteers’ Week starting Monday 2nd June
Volunteers’ Week is an annual UK-wide campaign held from the first Monday in June to celebrate and recognise the contributions of volunteers.
Here at Merchants’ Place we will be starting the week with a Volunteer Information Open Day on Monday 2nd June 10am to 2pm. Come along and find out about the opportunities available in the local area.
