Community Fridge

Welcome to Cromer Community Fridge & Larder.

As we are in lockdown there are strict measures in place.
* You MUST wear a mask when in the centre – no exceptions (if you are not able to wear one send someone else to the fridge on your behalf)
* Sanitise your hands
* Complete track & trace – name, postcode, contact number
* Bring your own bags
* One person per family will be admitted unless extra support is needed
* You may be asked to wait outside if we are busy
If you find you’ve bought a little too much christmas food and wish to donate to the fridge, please ensure everything is in date, unopened and the ingredients are visable.

If you do not wish to enter the Centre we are able to pack a parcel for you to collect at the door. Call 01263 519454 or 07801 299977 to discuss your requirements. You can also message us through our Facebook page.

Supplying a range of fresh food, the fridge will be open to anybody and can be accessed Monday – Thursday, 9:30am – 3pm.
The fridge is an extension of our Community Larder, where we offer dried and long-life food, toiletries and sanitary products to families in need for up to 3 days at a time.

Everybody is welcome – no referral is needed.

Current opening times are Monday – Thursday 9.30am – 3pm (updated 6/1/2021)

We have recently received funding from the Norfolk Community Foundation to provide shelving and other items to expand our fridge. We will be re-organising our space shortly to make the best use of the existing space available. Thank you to the Norfolk Community Foundation for this funding, it is appreciated and will be well-used.

We also have received £10,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund. This will be used to expand our fridge and larder by recruiting a new member of staff on a part-time basis, providing ongoing support to our existing services. Thank you once again to the National Lotter Community Fund for this funding!
