In partnership with Norfolk Community Law Service and supported by Cromer Town Council, we are able to offer free advice sessions here at Merchants’ Place. 15 minute legal advice sessions with a solicitor.
The next session will be on Wednesday 28th January 9.30am to 12.30pm.

New Years Day Family Support Station
On New Years Day 1st January from 2pm to 6pm Merchants’ Place will be open providing a safe, warm area to feed and change your baby or toddler. Changing mats and sofas will be available.
Volunteers’ Week starting Monday 2nd June
Volunteers’ Week is an annual UK-wide campaign held from the first Monday in June to celebrate and recognise the contributions of volunteers.
Here at Merchants’ Place we will be starting the week with a Volunteer Information Open Day on Monday 2nd June 10am to 2pm. Come along and find out about the opportunities available in the local area.
We will celebrate the week with a THANK YOU afternoon for all our lovely volunteers on Thursday 4th.
Adult Learning courses coming to Merchants’ Place.

We close on December 22nd and reopen to the public on Monday 8th January 2024. We are open for private bookings from 3rd to 5th January, appointment only for CITB tests, Reed Wellbeing Diabetic clinic, Shawtrust and Specsavers hearing tests, for any enquiries relating to these organisations please contact them directly.

A range of free courses will be running at Merchants’ Place soon, such as Flower Craft, Working with Children, Digital Photography, Learning to use your Smartphone and Tablet and much more!

Service disruption Tier 4..
As we reopen in Tier 4 there will be some disruption to our services.
All of our face to face support groups have been temporarily cancelled and will be reviewed on 18th January.
This includes, Coffee, Cake & Company, Drawn Together, Yes We Can and Let’s Create.
Cromer Community Fridge & Larder remain open, currently 9.30am – 3pm, Monday to Thursday, this may change in the coming days. There are strict procedures in place when accessing the fridge & larder; complusory facemasks (no exceptions), sanitise hands, complete track & trace, bring your own bags. Only one person per family will be admitted, unless you need extra support. You may be asked to wait outside if the fridge is in use.
We remain open for Specsavers hearing tests on Fridays, please note the centre will be closed for any other enquiries other than Specsavers.
