North Norfolk Family Network is a service managed and run by Merchants’ Place. The project is funded through Norfolk Community Foundation via the Love Norfolk Fund, delivered by Sarah, our Postnatal Practitioner.
Supporting parents by offering free information, advice and workshops, to enable them to make informed decisions. If you are in need of support and guidance regarding any aspect of childcare or parenting, contact us to book a free appointment with our family practitioner.
Whether you need ongoing support or a one-off appointment, we can help. Appointments can be offered via phone, Zoom or in person at the Centre.
What help can we offer?
Family Drop in – Monday mornings during term time, offering support for anyone who is pregnant or with a baby/toddler. Fathers, mothers, carers and other professionals welcome, covering topics such as:
Becoming a parent, early days with your baby, breastfeeding, what’s in a nappy, sleep, baby’s cues, developmental milestones, teething, sun safety & holidays and much more…
Baby weigh scales – every Monday morning during the drop in. Stay and chat or just pop in and weigh baby.
Mini Merchants Sing & Stay sessions – Also on a Monday morning with new sessions starting mid May, 2 x sessions for babies and toddlers. Each week we cover a different theme, with gentle sensory play, singing and time for the grown ups to chat and share being a parent over coffee. Get in touch for more details.
Is there a charge?
All the services are free. As the project is funded we do require a simple form to be completed.
